Five off-grid cabins hidden within 6,500 acres of wild Devon countryside. Each sits in its own field with breathtaking views of the moor, an outdoor copper bath placed for the view, a wood burner inside and a fire pit of its own.
No noise, no neighbours. Just fresh air, wide views and total silence.
There’s no wifi and there are no plug sockets, by design. Every cabin has USB charging points, and power banks can be pre-ordered. Parking is about 250m from each cabin, a short walk up a sloped field, and trolleys and torches are provided.
Exmoor is one of only 20 Dark Sky Reserves in the world, so clear nights are something to stay up for. By day, walks start from the door, and the coast is 40 minutes over the moor.

We’ve just had the most relaxing stay in Exmoor. The cabins were cosy and stylish, and the beds were super comfy. I slept so well. I do appreciate a lovely hand/body wash too. The bath with views of the rolling hills was particularly special. 100% recommend if you want a relaxing stay away in nature to recharge.

We had a wonderful stay at The Heather. Every detail had been thought of inside and outside the cabin, and the view was incredible. We took our labrador, who absolutely loved it too!

If you’re looking for perfect serenity, this is it! Sunsets, silence and reset. It was the most amazing week with absolute scenes across Exmoor. We haven’t slept so well in years. It’s simplicity in luxury mode and we loved it!! Already booked the Dales location but Exmoor Rest + Wild you have our hearts.

A fantastic weekend spent at Rest + Wild Exmoor. This was our first visit and had the pleasure of staying in Woodrush. Every little detail has been thought of for a relaxing weekend. The cabin is very well appointed from the bed linen to the Le Creuset whistling kettle. If you are looking for an opportunity to get away from it all, turn your phone off and just relax then this is the place for you.
